Although you can safely eat our hamburger meat raw, we prefer our hamburgers cooked through but not over-cooked. It's a matter of personal taste. I would never eat raw hamburger in a restaurant when you have no idea where the meat is coming from, or what exactly is in it!
Mimi's Tip: If you like exciting flavors like I do, you can add some chipotle seasoning, or some horseradish cream when you form your paddies. Also, I sometimes melt some crumbled blue cheese instead of sliced cheese, yum... fresh sliced advocado is fantastic on our hamburgers too.
